Police have identified two individuals who died in a two-car crash Thursday on the Mohouli Extension near Kukuau Street in Hilo.

Police have identified two individuals who died in a two-car crash Thursday on the Mohouli Extension near Kukuau Street in Hilo.

The woman has been identified as 20-year-old Alicia Andres of Hilo.

The other deceased person was identified as a 17-year-old boy. Police are not releasing his name because he is a minor.

An autopsy conducted Friday morning determined that both died from injuries sustained in the crash.

A 39-year-old Keaau woman injured in the crash and taken to Hilo Medical Center in critical condition was identified in a police log as Robin Cheney. No update on her condition was immediately avaialable.
